Lovely little bakery in downtown Falmouth. High attention to detail for all of the pastries accompanied by excellent coffee. Plenty of both indoor and outdoor space to sit and enjoy authentic French pastries. Chocolate chip cookies were also out of this world. On par with some of our favorite places in Manhattan- highly recommend to visitors and locals alike!

This French bakery is great. Really nice selection of fresh baked breads and desserts galore. Nice friendly staff plus refreshments. Highly recommended.

Excellent pastries, coffee and snacks. Ham and cheese sandwich to die for. Their individual quiches are good as are their cakes.

Don't get me wrong, Maison Villatte, (or what I call The French Bakery) is one of the best places in Falmouth. Great food, nice staff, has a bathroom, and gives out free food at the end of the day. The biggest problem is actually how good it is. Being a very big tourist attraction all year around, the lines can take over 15 minutes even in winter. And most of the best foods like the chocolate croissant will be gone by 3pm. I am not saying you shouldn't go, because the food is worth the wait. I am just saying go early in the day when you're not in a rush.
